The Swain County High School of Applied Science, Math, and Technology will provide a challenging course of study that will be relevant to today’s student.  While the focus of this school will be applied math, science, and technology, all core subjects will be taught in an integrated, rigorous and relevant manner.  In addition, this school will stress mentorship by adults in the community as well as the faculty.  Students will also be encouraged to mentor new and younger students as they enter the school.  The goal of this school is to ensure that each student graduates from high school and is fully capable and ready to attend a college or university.
